Effective Dates

Finals Week

Finals week begins on the Monday following the fifteenth week of the semester and lasts through the following Friday.

Monday, April 29, 2013 - Friday, May 3, 2013

One Hour Rules

To accommodate loading and unloading your possessions while moving into your residence hall:

1.  You MAY park in a signed 1-Hour Zone
OR
2.  You MAY park next to a Yellow curb for a MAXIMUM time of one hour.
(This applies ONLY for the purpose of loading and unloading and applies ONLY to lots closest to your residence hall)

You MAY NOT park:

1.  Next to a RED curb at any time !
OR
2.  Next to a YELLOW curb when the "One Hour Plan" is not in effect.
3.  In Restricted areas (Reserved Spaces, Services Zones, No Parking areas, etc.)

Note:

Banner tape will be used ONLY TO HIGHLIGHT the temporary loading / unloading zones. However, although the tape may be torn down, the signs and restrictions will remain in effect.

 

Special Parking Conditions

Permits are not required in blue parking zones and university-owned apartment parking areas.

Permits are required in orange, green, yellow, red, crimson, and gray parking zones and visitor areas.

 

Summer Session Start (This period includes all Summer Blocks)

Semester Start is the period at the start of each semester from the Monday of the week prior to the first day of class through the third day of class.

Saturday, May 4, 2013 - Wednesday, May 8, 2013

Permits are not required in crimson, gray, and blue parking zones and university-owned apartment parking areas.

Permits are required in orange, green, yellow, and red parking zones and visitor areas.

  

Alternate Parking Areas:

South Side Alternate Parking

Residents of Waller, Stimson, Gannon, Goldsworthy, Stephenson, Olympia Avenue, Orton, McEachern, and Rogers Halls may use the areas indicated below as an alternative to the marked One Hour areas.

 


North Side Alternate Parking

Residents of McCroskey, Duncan-Dunn, Wilmer, Davis, Community, Honors, Streit-Perham, Scott-Coman, Regents, Honors and Stevens Halls may use the areas indicated below as an alternative to the marked One Hour areas.
